What happened to my Android 5.0.1 update? Will it come back OTA?

The Android 5.0.1 update for Google Nexus 5 arrived on my phone the other day, but a phone call came at the same time, and now I don't see the update anywhere. About Phone says it is still 5.0, no updates. It was just a split second thing, I see the icon on top and then gone.

Settings--->About Phone--->System Updates--->Check for Update

My Nexus 7 2013 got the OTA. I waited to here how things were going. The notification disappeared. I checked the Check for Updates. It said everything was up to date. Still at 4.4. What with that?

I had that happen too (2013 nexus7) but check for update didn't help. I ended up having to sideload it. That worked well enough even though less convenient than regular OTA since I had to get the driver on the computer working, which wasn't easy.
