Why can't I change Contact accounts after the Marshmallow update, Nexus 5?

Can't change Contacts account after Marshmallow update, NExus 5

I just updated to Marshmallow on my Nexus 5. Everything went well, but ever since the update, when I create a new contact, I cannot select which account it will be associated with.

I use my phone for personal and business and I really need to segregate my contacts.

Is anyone else seeing this issue? Is there a new way to set this that I'm just not seeing?

Yes, this is probably my BIGGEST complaint for the same reason as you. I add contacts for work (in a shared account) and personal
