Samsung Galaxy S3 - Turned off (battery not flat) and won't turn back on

Hi - has anyone had this problem? How did you fix it? What was the issue? My phone was bought in NZ but I have recently been using it in China. Cheers.

Welcome to Android Central, and sorry for the delay. What do you mean that the battery was not flat? Do you mean it wasn't down to zero? Or that the battery doesn't lie flat on a table? If it's bulging in the middle, that's a sign of a failing battery, and would explain why the phone doesn't turn on--try a new battery.
