dell venue 8 plugged in not charging

For the last few days my tablet has been saying plugged in not charging? I have tried everything, what do I do now?

Welcome to Android Central! Is it plugged into a wall outlet or a computer USB port? USB ports don't always provide enough juice to charge a device adequately. Cables can fail as well, such that the charging part stops working while the data transfer part still works. That happened to me with a 3rd party cable.

Yes it was plugged into the wall, not the computer. I have done a factory reset, that did not help. I have also tried other chargers to see if that was the problem, its not! This tablet is only a couple of months old. I am very frustrated!

Probably time to contact Dell for warranty repair or replacement. Or you could talk to the store where you bought it.

Thank you, I think I will go to the store I purchased it from first then speak to Dell. This is crazy! Thanks for taking the time to respond!

They have not solved it. I sent mine back and they replaced the motherboard instead of motherboard and battery.
