Samsung Galaxy 3 tablet keeps turning off during system update

Tried to update my tablet but every time it starts the system update it shuts off around 5% and restarts. It will not turn on at all when its not on the charger and when I do plug it in its still attempting the system update but restarting EVERY time and wont get passed the 5%!!! Please help!

Try to do a factory data reset before updating
