My Nexus 5 just shutdown and is not starting, can anyone help?

my nexus 5 just shutdown and not starting

I downloaded zedge and immediately my nexus 5 stopped working and does not restart.
I checked by charging but it is not responding..please help.

Welcome to Android Central! Try pressing and holding the power button for around 15 seconds--does it turn on? If not, try booting into Recovery Mode, and if you're able to, wipe the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data.
