why everytime i try to delete a app my phone shuts off?

my phone kept shutting off when I go on facebook so then I tries to delete the app and now it would not allow me.

Welcome to Android Central! What phone do you have? It doesn't sound like the act of trying to delete an app is what's causing your phone to shut off--from what you describe, it was happening when you were trying to use Facebook, right?

You don't delete an app, you uninstall it. Settings/General/Applications manager. Find the FB app. Press it. Clear the cache. Clear data. Force stop. Uninstall.
