Why is my screen purple and how can I fix it

I was washing my face yestrday night when I noticed a few droplets got on my phone so I wiped it an moved it aside , it was working fine then all of a sudden the screen went purple to pink and now that's all I see when I turn it on . Everything else works, also my phone is a samsung galaxy s3

The screen probably needs to be replaced. I don't know if the water did it, or if it was just coincidence. The downside to changing out a screen is if you aren't careful, you can damage other parts while doing the swap, like ribbons and connectors.
