Sync App Data still won't enable up to now

I keep tapping it and the loading sync icon appears next to Sync App Data for less than a second and goes back to saying "Sync disabled". Is there any way to fix this? I can't find a way, tapping the left side button of the phone does nothing and tapping Sync all won't work! Sync App Data and all other Sync stuff except for Sync Google+ and Sync Google+ Photos are saying Sync disabled even after 2 times of trying to sync! Please assist... this is kind of sad since the Sync options won't enable!
