a friend sent me his brand new Galaxy Note 3 because he couldn't get used to android. i'm trying to use it with At&t. it seems like it should be no problem, but i tried towelroot and it says "This phone isn't currently supported".
My AT&T sim card is in it, and the bottom of the screen now says AT&T, so it's reading my card, but when i try to go online it only works if it's connected to wi-fi. any suggestions as to how to get my phone working? I tried changing the APN settings as i found online for at&t and have those saved...
I'm not super savy, i've just been trying things i see suggested on youtube and google, soi'm not exactly sure if there is a difference between rooting and unlocking, but it was my understanding that all verizon galaxy note 3 come unlocked.
