I have a black screen on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and it is frozen, how can I fix this?

It does not obey the on/off buttons nor does it allow to go back to normal... Plain frozen!

Welcome to Android Central! If the screen is black, how do you know it's frozen, and not just completely powered off? Or that it's actually on, but you just don't know because the screen is black? Does it make any sounds? Are the capacitative buttons backlit?

If the whole tablet seems dead, then the battery or the motherboard might have failed. If the tablet seems to be working, but the screen is black, then maybe the screen just failed. Either way, you'll probably have to bring it to a repair shop, or contact a Samsung service center.
