Unexpected App Shutdowns

[AC Question]

Since the update my HTC One M8 has had one app after the other experiencing unexpected shutdown. The last few days it has spread to almost every app installed: facebook, credit card apps, flashlight apps, games, etc. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Or is this possibly from Verizon/network issues?

Try a Cache Partition wipe, good practice after a system software update.
