Cannot recieve incoming calls but everything else works! How to fix?

I have a LG Nexus 4 android, few years old and its been jailbroken on stock but I haven't been to fix it and neither receive any updates. Have been stuck on jellybean.

Well if it's rooted (jailbroken is iphone term) you won't get updates as you are not running officially released version of android, that is if you loaded another rom on the device.
Is it stock android and just rooted?

Sometimes just rebooting your phone fixes the problem. Also you could clear cache and data in settings - apps for the phone app.
