Play store won't download

I have an Acer iconic tab A500 and my play store won't download or update anything. I have tried clearing cache and data and even the force stop, but I just keep getting an error and it still won't download ANY apps. Please help!!

Welcome to Android Central! Are all other Google apps accessing the web correctly?

Go to Settings>Apps>All, select Download Manager, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now try again.

If that doesn't work, then go to Settings>Accounts​, remove your Google account, then add it back.
