I got home after a long day, and my phone was working fine throughout. At 10pm my phone connects to my house internet and when I checked it, there was an app called 'TV remote control' that i definitely did not download, then soon after my phone would freeze. My whatsapp would be working extremely slow and then my phone would restart every few minutes. Now my phone has been frozen for the past few minutes and before hand i tried to remove this app but the name of the app did not appear on my application settings.
Is this a virus? and if so is there another way to fix this without resulting in the factory reset, as I don't want to loose all my data, thank you
