S4 active update?

Hello,

I recently purchased an s4 active from a friend. She said it was an international phone(whatever that means) I noticed I'm still running 4.2.2 and figured there was a newer version, but it says the phone is up to date. The phone came from AT&T and I'm running on Cricket. Any suggestions? I've been reading about rooting, but I dunno if that's the best way to go...

You can try downloading Samsung Kies and doing an update through the PC software.
