New phone, has full charge when i went to bed. wake up 7 hrs later and battery dead. ??

also when i booted the phone up some of the app logos had disappeared .. any explanation? ( it is a new phone, only had it a day)

Welcome to AC.

Battery dead, eh? I once had a phone drain overnight, and it had powered off at 3% charge to protect the battery. Did that happen in your case?

Also, what did your battery stats reveal as having used that charge?

New phone + problem = bring it back. Don't waste any more time on it. Let the manufacturer (which gets it back eventually) worry about it.
