Plugged in Note 4 to laptop but still cannot see pictures, why?

I plugged in my phone to my laptop, unlocked it and made sure I changed it to PTP so I can see my pictures and nothing. I opened ALL the folders and there is absolutely nothing on there. Why is that? What am I doing wrong? Why can't I import my pictures? TIA!!

Have you tried storing your pictures on the microSD card, that way you can always pull the card out and use it. If you have the device set up as a mass storage device you should be able to see it, possibly the device drivers are not loaded. Beyond that I am not sure why it wouldn't show the images.
