"Google services" uses 47% of my battery

I'm using a GS3 that is running 4.1.1, my carrier is too cheap to upgrade it, and the last few weeks I've noticed that my battery drains faster than an old vivitar, at 11:20 am its at 57 percent. So I go look at the battery usage, google services is at 47, and the next one down is the display at 9... I've restarted my phone countless times. I've tried force stopping the app, to have it popv back up immediately. I've installed some apps from cheetah mobile that seem to have helped minutetly. That particular service came preinatalled, sovi can't disable it. I've turned off all location settings in my settings menu. At this point with how fast it drains (its at 54 now) I'd rather have it gone so I can use it like a normal phone. Any help at all would be awesome! Thanks!
