How can I "unhide" photos on my Samsung Galaxy Tab3?

I accidently hid some photos by pressing a wrong button while trying to put them in albums. I can find them in the photos app but I seem unable to retrieve them or even create a new album for them.

Just download a file manager, browse to the "hidden" folder and delete the "nomedia" file. Done.
