Anyone know about the performance
rice ratio on these? Is the 16gb Shield's performance worth double the price of the Forge? Both use Android TV, and the main intention is emulators, browsing, and Netflix (Maybe Amazon Prime Video, or whatever it's called, too.) It'll be running 720p for now, and 1080p later. Anandtech's benchmarks for the Tegra X1 based Shield, and for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 in general (Forge has a snapdragon 805) say that it's absolutely no contest. Also, when the controller is figured in, which is another $50 if packaged with the Forge, whilst the $200 Shield includes one by default that is better to boot, the difference is only a 33% increase in cost if I go for the shield...
...I've already figured this out, haven't I? I guess I need reaffirmation? Confirmation? Go for the Shield, right?
