Left side of Samsung Tab 2 doesn't work...

Hello. I was wondering if anyone knew the part of the motherboard or specific part controls the touch screen? I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 that has the entire left side of the screen that won't work. Everything else works fine other than the left side. This happened after it was knocked off the counter. I have a completely different Tab 2 that died that I switched screens with, and the screen still doesn't work on the left side. This is why I want to know what chip, or part controls that side of the screen. I figure I can just take that particular part off the other tablet and replace it on the working one.

Sorry I have dismantled a device since my old BlackBerries in the past. Try hitting up Samsung support to see what their repair costs would be, likely more than you want but worth a try.
