My htc keeps getting lines down screen,also keeps turning itself off

[AC Question]

My HTC One m7, keeps getting lines down display also kicks new off and closes down all the time, today in shut down on 65% only way to get it back on is to plug it in, came back on at 32%
It did this Friday when I was out plenty of batterey but closed down and woulnt come back on, I need my phone because of my business and no one could get hold of me till I got home
Any suggestions

You could try a new battery but it sounds as if there may be other problems as well.

Welcome to Android Central! As belodion suggests, it could be a failing battery, but you'd probably have to bring it to a repair shop to replace, since the battery is not user-removable. It might also be a problem with the motherboard. Either way, bring it to a repair shop.
