Alarm clock gone.

My Sony Xperia z2 recently did a software update (not an android update). Since then I lost my alarm clock that is standard on the phone. I downloaded about 3 different clocks from Google play, but none of them work, well they don't sound when I need them too. Is there a problem with the update or does anybody know a faultless clock that does what it's supposed to do.

Welcome back! If you open the Clock app, is there an Alarm Clock function there?

Found alarm clock in the apps. Wether it's the Sony one (I think it is) or 1 I downloaded, I'm not sure about. I'll try setting that alarm. Need a reliable alarm for work.

Is it called Alarm Clock or just Clock? Preinstalled alarm clocks are usually part of the main Clock app.

It's called alarm & clock. I think it might be working again.

You can tell if it's preinstalled or not by going to Settings>Apps>All, and tapping that app. If it has an Uninstall button that isn't greyed out, then it's not preinstalled. If it only has a Disable button, then it was preinstalled.
