I need help retrieving my passcode

[AC Question]

I went through device manager to change the passode because I had forgotten it but when I went thorugh all the steps and went to type in the new code it says incorrect passcode so after ttrying it a few times, I started the steps all over and put new passcode. Still does not work when I enter the new code. Is there a way to completely start over?I try it 3 times replacing the code, Is there any way I can figure out exactly which code actually registered.
