how to get rid of a virus that is on my phone

I have a galaxy s3 every time I go to make a call, play a game, or pull up apps. I'm not going to lie but I downloaded porn on my phone and I'm pretty sure that's where I got it. Now a robot broke up in tiny pieces on a floor keeps popping up. I have uninstalled the porn site but the robot is still popping up. will any antivirus app work from the play store ?

You didn't have to mention the p***.

Install Malwarebytes and Avira. Update both apps and have them scan your phone... let them fix whatever they find. Try to see if you can run them with you phone in Safe Mode, if not, just run them in normal mode. If you don't know how to boot to safe mode, here's a video.
