Phone adds +1 to phone numbers dialing out

When I use Google search to look up a business, or tell Google to call a business or person not in my contacts, my phone adds +1 when dialing. This of course gets me the "call cannot be made" recording. I went into settings, and the international calling mode is off, but there's no option for US calls. I just need the phone to dial area code + number, without putting "1" in front.

Hi, try giving your network provider a call and seeing if they can assist you.
