I have a really big white line on my phone?

So I put my galaxy s5 underwater and it was working fine until today all of a sudden a green line appeared on my phone vertical on the left side. Them 3 minutes ago it just turned into a really big white line. How would I fix this? I can't post a pic so if you could maybe dm me so I can send you the screenshot? Please help me!!!

Whether the water is the cause, or something else, the screen may need replacing. But if water IS the cause, as seems likely, a repair may be unworthwhile, water damage tending to be progressive.
