would something go wrong with the software update package

I was using wifi and this software update thing showed up the software update reached about 53% in order to cancel it i went and force stopped it.now i want to update my fone.would there be anything wrong if i resume the update

Go into settings>about device and check for updates

Yes, all you have done with clearing cache is removed the partial download so it's now ready for you to proceed
