Galaxy S6 Lagging/Spazzing Out

[AC Question]

As of late my S6 has been spazzing out to the point where it is near useless when it does it. The lights of the home/App manager buttons flicker and then the phone lags to all hell, including scrolling being laggy and unresponsive, and changing app pages on the home screen opens the apps I scroll over. I mean, if I am scrolling to the next app page, and put my thumb over an app to flick the screen, it opens that app instead of scrolling. I have factory reset the phone and the problem has persisted? Is this some sort of water damage? The phone is in one of this Guardian Otterbox phone cases (minus the shield for the screen as I have a tempered glass cover). I will probably end up taking this phone into the Verizon store if I can't figure out what's wrong. This phone has had no issue that I can remember prior.

it could be water damage but only if you know there has been water that has come into contact with your phone. This is similar to the water damage that my friend phone suffered.

Yeah I was in the rain the other day for a bit, so I guess that could be it. Just figured this case sealed all openings so it'd be less of a possibility.
