Why won't my pictures open after moving them to my sd card?

I need some help please?
I had 500 pictures on my phone. So i moved them to my micro sd card and now none of them will open. I have tried moving them back to the phone but still won't open?
Can anyone help please?

your sd might be damaged or locked, I would recommend to try some tool for date recovery and pull it out with it (do not write any more data to it and do not format the sd, so you do not lose your data).
