Does anyone know how to recover deleted contacts on a samsung galaxy s7 edge?

Data recovery programs will only work if your device is rooted. The chances of recovering the database file intact is remote

Was the contact stored as a phone contact or as a Google contact? If it was a Google contact, you can go to contacts.google.com sign in to your Google account the click the More > link on the left and select to restore contacts. You can restore deleted contacts for up to 30 days I believe.

Contacts are important for everyone but it makes users irritating when it gets deleted. Though when they are deleted, they can be recovered if you have previously backed up those on safe place. But I am sure that most of them never create a backup of their important data like contacts in safe place.

Well when you don’t have any backup available then you can try out some professional recovery software that can recover your wiped away contacts from Samsung Galaxy S7 edge.

Any contacts saved as Android account contacts can be recovered regardless of the phone (for the last 30 days) at Google Contacts /More/Restore contacts...

Suprised you never used Samsung smartswitch and backed everything up to your computer.
Where you would have a copy of it.
And you don't have backup on google on your phone turned on.

@cardboard, in order for backup to work, the contacts have to be Google account contacts. It doesn't back up Phone or SIM contacts.
