Importing Outlook Contacts and Calendars

A

AC Question

I have all of my contacts and calendars on Outlook and would like to have these visible on the default 'people' and 'calendar' apps on my Android phone(it's an Alcatel OneTouch Pixi3). I would like to do this without downloading the Outlook app as it takes up a LOT of room and this phone has very littler storage. I've tried going to settings>add account but adding an Outlook account is not an option that is given and trying to add it via IMAP or POP3 doesn't seem to work either.

Any information would be helpful, this is driving me crazy!

You should be able to add a calendar by adding an .ics file for the Outlook calendar to the Google Calendar.

Contacts are more difficult - you can statically add a .csv file to Google Contacts (and your phone will sync to that), but if you change your Outlook contacts, they won't change in Google until you sync Google Contacts to a new .csv file. (Or use an Outlook-aware contacts app, which you don't want to add.)
