I need an mobile app for my printer

I have a Kodak verite 55 plus printer. I have a nexas 6 phone and downloaded the app they suggested but my phone will not recognize my printer. What can I do?

I wonder if any kind of bluetooth pairing OR network setup is necessary before printing can begin? The printer may require a special mode entered in to in order to input the correct settings for your network, OR it may require a 1 time wired connection to a PC or Mac to setup wireless printing. Additionally (and I only know from having done the HP setup), that an account on the cloud may be necessary also. In the case of google this may already be partially done for you as it likely uses your existing gmail, or google account, BUT you MAY need to do an account setup before it will all work. That Google page B. Diddy suggested will probably explain all this.

With my cheapie and nasty canon printer, i just got the canon plugin from play store and away i go on wifi....zero setup required...
