Nexus 5 screen pattern not working

Hi I m currently using nexus 5 . I am trying to unlock screen using my lock pattern however m unable to do so ! Pattern entered by me is the same which has been set by me ! Is there in way to reset that pattern ? Please help

Welcome to Android Central! No, I'm afraid there isn't, short of doing a factory reset. Some people might suggest Android Device Manager, but this will only help you if the phone didn't have a screen lock set in the first place.
