Rooted Nook Stock - Add apps to Extras menu?

Unless I'm missing something the only way I've found to launch new apps on the standard nook interface is to execute a search for them. Is there any way to add them to the extras menu or the main screen windows?

I am stock rooted and they appear in my extra tray automatically, but only after I turn it off and back on after I download it.

Yeah, I noticed that also.

As jeregano says...they appear in the extras menu after you reboot your device. You have to completely power down and reboot...not just sleep and wake.
