Why won't the Galaxy S4 I got in August charge or turn on?

I just got the Galaxy s4 in August and now it won't charge or turn on!

I just got the Galaxy s4 in August and now it won't charge or turn on! I plugged it in last night and it said it was charging. Now I have a dead phone that will not even charge. What should I do? I have tried taking the battery out and back it and it then vibrates when I plug it in like it does when it notifies me that its charging but then shuts back off. I'm very frustrated. My work revolves around my phone. I need help fast!

Your local AT&T or Verizon corporate store can help you with warranty issues. I suggest you take it to the one that matches the carrier you're with. They can try another battery and possibly give you a replacement battery right there if they find it was the battery. if it's not the battery, they should be able to swap the phone for you. Verizon corporate stores used to be able to provide this service while 3rd-parties (Best Buy Radio Shack, etc) didn't, I don't know if that's changed.
