can anyone help me unroot my epic 4g touch... I'm using heimdall because i have a mac and i went here to follow instructions but i don't understand where to put the stock kernel tar file into the heimdall.

any help would be great!

For Heidmall, go to the flash tab and select the zImage file. You can get that file by expanding the .tar file.

Then select kernel for the partition and flash.

Tar files for Hedimall need to be specifically designed to work with it (with a firmware.xml included), since that isn't there you'll have to expand it and then just flash the partition directly.
