market problems photon 4g

so I bought the photon about a month ago. I rooted it and everything was working fine until last week when it suddenly stopped receiving my text messages or got them a day or two later. I decided to reset the phone. but now the market app is having problems. I tried installing facebook for android, appbrain market, thesaurus and others and it says that my device is not compatible with those apps . however, I unistalled the updates and could install the apps I wanted but when i updated the market again it doesn't show the apps that it said my phone was not compatible with even though they are installed. what's wrong with my phone/market???
