charging battery

I just got my Droid Bionic 2 days ago. I am confused about proper charging methods. The sales rep told me to just use it. If it needed a charge charge it. Didn't matter with these newer batteries if they drained completely or got a full charge. Is that all correct or am I depleting my battery life.

Charge away

I usually only charge my battery if its needed, even if it means charging to full even if I have 70% left. replacement battery's are fairly affordable now, so if I need a new one it won't be a big problem purchasing a new one.
