Anyone has any idea where these unsolicited ad that appeared on my android gingerbread Samsung Galaxy W can be removed? Or anyway to trace where did they come from (which app?)

You seem to know what is going on... it's an app you downloaded. Best thing to do is just start removing apps until you find your culprit. Then just reload the apps you know are ok.

If you gave us a list of apps you have... maybe someone might know of a specific app that might be causing this, but without that we are all flying blind.

Download Lookout Ad Network Detector from the Market and see if that can narrow down which app is pulling the ads to your phone.

Through "Lookout Ad Network Detector", all the "android notification bar ads" were invoked by Tubemate - a Youtube downloader on android.
