Does warranty cover this?

AC Question

I work in a supermarket in the department of frozen food, for example fish, ice cream, ...
The fridge where we store all the goods for storage has a temperature of -35° C.
As dumb as I am, I got a call while working and after it was done, I left my phone(Samsung Galaxy S II) in the fridge.

I only realized this after 1 hour, and now my phone (pretty obviously) doesn't want to boot anymore.

My question is, is this covered by warranty?
What if I make up a story that I didn't forgot it there, but that it was in my trousers while I was in the fridge..

For the record, most sites on internet recommend not to use any phone below -5° C, I don't know if this is in the user manual of my phone or not :p

No, you won't be covered under warranty. There's a moisture strip in the inside of the phone that likely has changed colors to indicate contact with moisture. When you send for repair they will see it and deny service.
