How do I stop the screen touches on the screen on my Android Lollipop 5.0?

Screen touches seen in Android Lollipop 5.0

Hi.
I installed a screen recorder called "Unlimited Screen Recorder Free" which has an option to also record the touches on the screen.
I enabled that feature but after closing the app and also after uninstalling it the touches are still seen with a big white dot.
I restarted the phone but nothing changed.
I installed the app again, enabled the touches and disabled them again, uninstalled again, rebooted but still seeing the touches on the screen.
Any ideas how can I get rid of this?

I got an answer from the developer that fixed the issue:

Go to phone Settings -> Developer options, if you cannot see the option then go to About phone and tap several times on Build number, then you should see Developer options in Settings, go there and uncheck Show touches.
