VIRUS Attack! Help!

My Internet Explorer was attacked by a virus on my Samsung Galaxy s4. No wonder is was attacked because its Internet Explorer. Every time I go to the browser i get a message accusing me of viewing child pornographic material etc. Also it asks me to pay £100 to enable access. I know its a virus %100 just need to figure out how to delete it. Any idea guys ?

Re: VIRUS Attack! Help!

I am curious how you are using Internet Explorer? Or are you referring to the general internet app on the Samsungs?

EDIT: Have you tried clearing the data in Settings>Apps?

I have a Galaxy S4 that keeps downloading ad.doubleclick.net .txt files and then after installing MacAfee anitvirus it lost cell service and I had to reboot. Any suggestions? This is getting annoying.

Welcome to Android Central! Not sure why you'd lose cell service with McAfee, but in general, McAfee isn't the greatest antivirus app anyway. Uninstall it, and try Malwarebytes or Kaspersky instead.

Those files that are downloading are probably related more to adware than true malware. The adware was probably installed along with some other app you installed (most likely a game). Try uninstalling apps one by one until the problem goes away. It can be pretty tedious, but there often is no good way to pinpoint the culprit.
