AC Question

I can't find an app that is supposedly installed.

I installed Overdrive on my Craig android notebook. But it is not listed anywhere in my apps, or in manage apps. How do I find it? Is there a search function?

Re: I can't find an app that is supposedly installed.

Greetings and welcome to Android Central!

Just curious to know if you're able to view recent downloads on your Android Device? Maybe doing a reboot? If you downloaded via Google Play, all is not lost and you should be able to obtain it from there.

Hope you find what you're looking for and enjoy!

I assume you are talking about Overdrive that is connected to local library. I would suggest looking in setting - application manager - check all tabs. If the app is not there then probably was not downloaded. Check Play Store, log in & check "your apps"; If shows downloaded, delete & redownload; if not listed then was never downloaded; just download again. If still doesn't work, then possibly go to local library - my wife had problems logging in to the the site & they were able to fix. We both use the app a lot, especially when we travel (books on tape & e-books)
