How can I fix a persistent error message - PLEASE HELP?

Persistent Error Message - PLEASE HELP

There is a persistent error message at the bottom of my screen which reads, "Message expired or not available." I can't get rid of it or figure out which app it is associated with. I've tried switching text messaging apps and that didn't help. Any ideas?

Try Settings, Storage, Cached Data, and clear the cache.
Tell us what that does.
