how do i fix my phone if it turns on 7 off repeatedly when i try to power on

I cant even make it to the home screen. If i put it on the charger it may stay on for a little while but never longer than 5 minutes. It charges & holds charge. i have wiped the cache clean & even restored factory settings which worked for 10 minutes but then started doing the same thing again.

The first hour of charging a completely dead battery (which you should never do) doesn't put much charge into it. Leave it turned off and charge it overnight, at least, then see what happens.
