How can I get my ADB to see my One Plus One?

ADB not seeing my One Plus One

Hi there,

The power button is broken my OPO so my only hope of turning it back on appears to be via ADB.

I have installed Android Studio and got ADB working ok, but when I scan for devices it can't see my phone - I am using the original cable, which is working fine. I have read something about putting the phone's serial number into ADB somewhere, but as the the phone is permanently off I can't do that.

Can anyone help!

You can't turn on a phone using ADB. If it's powered down nothing can interact with it.

Is that right? I was under the impression ADB could turn on a powered down phone...
