Restrict background data is enabled automatically, why is it for some apps only?

Restrict background data is enabled automatically

I had the same issue with Whatsapp not able to download messages in background and it started only after UPS mode was enabled for the first time.

Once the screen is locked, after 5 minutes, for some strange reason, the Restrict Background Data is Enabled automatically, only for some app?

Hello Akshat, welcome to the forums! Which device do you have? Does the problem persist after disabling the UPS mode?

I have same issue with Akshat and I'm using Samsung J7. Do you have any clue about this?
