Really hoping someone can help me with this odd issue. I recently changed motherboards. I went from an Asus z170m-plus to an Asus Z170i. On the m-plus i had no issues connecting my Nexus 6p to access file transfer. I have no issue getting the phone to work on other computers and laptops. However, when i connect the phone to my new motherboard, it refuses to install the drivers. The phone is listed under Portable Devices as MTP USB Device with an error code 31 (triangle, as well).
I have updated all my intel chipset drivers. I have installed the Huawei drivers, the Google USB drivers, MTP porting kit and some Intel android USB drivers. Nothing. I have had a hard time finding anyone with a similar problem or with a valid work around.
Fastboot and ADB work flawlessly, just access the phone is an issue.
Windows 7.
